IN THE NEAR FUTURE…DOOM ALONE MUST SAVE THE MARVEL UNIVERSE! Legendary creators Jonathan Hickman (ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN, G.O.D.S.) and Sanford Greene (Bitter Root) send Doctor Doom on a journey unlike any he has undertaken before! With Valeria Richards at his side, Doom goes on a quest to harness more power than any human has ever wielded before in order to try to stop Galactus from bringing about the death of the universe!

BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

Jonathan Hickman and Sandford Greene bring you a tale of Doom outside of continuity. Consider this a combo platter of nihilism and optimism, served in equal portions. Root for Doom! as he roots for you, long past the time of your death. Root for Doom! as he roots for you, willing to sacrifice what meager portions remain of what he knew, what he was, what he will now never be. Root for Doom! as he roots for you, looking skyward, looking down, looking forward, and looking at the past. Root for Doom! after failure. Root for Doom! with no chance of success. Root for Doom!

And then weep. Weep for Doom. Doom endures.

I don't know that Greene was the best choice here for the art, but this is a rare chance for Marvel to challenge readers with something outside the lines.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
