In the neo-noir city of Los Angeles, 2019, Ash, a veteran Blade Runner, is grappling with a new case: a billionaire's wife and child, apparently kidnapped by Replicants for dark purposes... An all-new ongoing comic series from the pen of Academy Award-nominated screenwriter Michael Green (Blade Runner 2049, Logan, American Gods), with longtime co-writer Mike Johnson (Batman/Superman, Supergirl, Star Trek), illustrated by Andres Guinaldo (Justice League Dark, Captain America). The first comic to tell original, in-canon stories set in the Blade Runner universe!
Date Available: 07/17/2019
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

If 'Blade Runner' as a property means you get a semi-solvable mystery with a twist and some nice visuals, the new title from Titan will fit the bill.

Co-written by the co-writter of Blade Runner 2049, this is a prequel postquel. We're very much in the Deckard era for visuals, but we're also post foil unicorn as skin jobs are a scarcity and even our human blade runners may be more than they appear.

The art by Andres Guinaldo is much better than serviceable. Against 2 movies directed by Ridley Scott and Denis Villeneuve (and an adaptation by Al Williamson and Carlos Garzon), it does come up short. That's perfectly fine though. There's plenty of engaging bits in this first issue. It looks like it will be fun to see where this is going.

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
