KICK-ASS IS BACK-ready to wipe out the city's criminal lowlives, destroy its gangs, and save its communities from decay. But there's a new face beneath the old mask, a new figure wearing that famous green and yellow spandex. Who is this new vigilante superhero? Who can fill Dave Lizewski's shoes? WHO IS THE NEW KICK-ASS? Find out in the first issue of this new, ongoing monthly series. Comic book legends MARK MILLAR and JOHN ROMITA, JR. reunite for the next chapter of the greatest superhero comic of all time.
Date Available: 02/14/2018
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

I'll answer the question on everyone's mind- Yes, its totally worth your time. Different Kick-Ass, different motivation, different skill set, different criminals, absolutely no Mindy (yet), absolutely no sign of her hand picked replacement for Dave Lizewski, and readily available Kick-Ass costumes.

That's what is and isn't here. What's missing though? Tom Palmer and Dean White, embellisher and colorist respectfully. They're replaced with digital inks and colors by Peter Steigerwald (whose work and I'm totally unfamiliar with) and stronger than usual pencils from John Romita Jr.

The other thing missing is the flying guy from the end of Kick Ass 3. I can't wait to see if we're in a larger world or not here. I'm genuinely surprised how much I liked this.

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
