They've saved the planet countless times, but what happens after the final battle has been won? Creators Aubrey Sitterson (The Comic Book Story of Professional Wrestling, G.I. Joe) & Fico Ossio (Spider-Man, Revolution) take inspiration from the legendary Dragon Ball to tell a story of regret, resentment, and growing older, one that asks, 'What does a fighter do when there's no one left to fight?'

BONUS REVIEW by Zach M

This series reads like a Dragon Ball Z video game in the best way possible! There is a Goku and Vegeta-ish partnership going on, but it IS NOT just a rip of something I love. You can tell the creators love DBZ (almost) as much as I do, and their characters are inspired by it, not copied from it. Solid story, but again similarly to a video game, if you're not feeling the story, it is never long before the next throw down! Art has clean lines with vibrant colors that I would easily put up against half the stuff coming to us from Marvel and DC. And if you're not sold yet, this book comes to us from Dark Horse Comics, a great and long lasting comic book publisher who has been doing worse and worse of the years due to losing most of their licensed properties. Buying this books not only gets you a really cool story, it also helps out a creator owned series and a publisher that cares about it's readers.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
