THE BLACK WINTER IS HERE. A god. A king. A herald. Every title Thor has worn has come with its own powers, its own terrible responsibilities. But none of them will be enough to stop the Black Winter. To save the Ten Realms - the entirety of the Multiverse - the Odinson must become…something else... Parental Advisory

BONUS REVIEW by Rick Berg

Meh... after a tremendous 4 issue build up... meh. Nic Klein certainly brought it. He continues to escalate his artwork, with stunning Butch Guice like hatch marks over Esad Ribic layouts. Love it! Thor brought it this issue. More epic battlings of epic clouds! But I was left in meh land by the story. This story feels like the entire King Thor storyline from Jason Aaron's run wiki'd down to the cliffnotes. I already read all powerful Thor, not being powerful enough. A few months ago. I already read the return of Gor. A few months ago. I already read Thor in a dark cloud that is tainting his soul. A few months ago. I already read Man-Gog returning. A few months ago. I already read Galactus' new origin twist. A few months ago. All that was missing was a Carnage or Knull appearance. Hopefully NegaScott and Scott Pilgrim, I mean NegaThor and Thor can work things out next month. Meh. I think you already read this a few months ago.

I give it 5 out of 10 Grahams
