VERY FINE/NEAR MINT

(A/CA) James Harren, Dave Stewart
A cosmic plague has spread, transforming everyday people into violent, monstrous kaiju. Only the Ultramega - three individuals imbued with incredible powers - hold the line against this madness. Their battles level cities and leave untold horror in their wake. Now, the final reckoning approaches for the Ultramega… but is this a war they can even win? Fight monsters and stand with humanity in this new Skybound original from the greatest artist of his generation, JAMES HARREN (RUMBLE, BPRD) and Eisner Award-winning colorist DAVE STEWART. Each issue is extra-sized, with a 60-page debut that can barely contain its giant heroes, creatures, and devastation! REGISTER PITCH: The high-impact adventure of EXTREMITY, but with the kaiju-esque monster action scenes of Pacfic Rim.
Date Available: 04/21/2021
BONUS REVIEW by Jake Pierce

If I could, I would break the Graham Crackers scale and rate this higher than 10 graham crackers. It deserves it. James Harren's writing debut is great, his art is fantastic as always and I never knew I needed artwork on an Ultraman type of book. His style lends so well to giant kaiju battles. Don't be scared of the $7.99 price point because you basically have the equivalent of two issues in one here, with 40 pages of ultra-mega monster battles, city wreckage, and an awesome intro into this world. Anyone who’s ever loved anything related to kaijus will love this first issue. As I say a lot in these reviews, DON"T SLEEP ON IT!

I give it 10 out of 10 Grahams
