'SOMETHING TO FEAR' CONTINUES! This extra-sized chapter contains one of the darkest moments in Rick Grimes' life, and one of the most violent and brutal things to happen within the pages of this series. 100 issues later, this series remains just as relentless as the debut issue. Do not miss the monumental 100th issue of THE WALKING DEAD!

BONUS REVIEW by Shanna Berry

If you haven’t read a single issue of Walking Dead, you’re missing out on one of the best series of all time. Period. If this issue is the first issue of Walking Dead you have read, again you’re missing out on 99 issues of building blocks all stacked up to fall in this issue. As an obsessed fan of the comic, I can tell you this has been built up for so many issues, until finally this issue stuns us with an unbelievable end. This issue is depressing, I’ll give you that. But it’s moving, it’s powerful, and my heart hurts. We fans have come to love these characters like they were our dear friends, even family, and maybe it’s been too long since we lost someone to remember that no one is safe in this world. Our clan learns a hard lesson in this issue, and maybe if you read all 99 issues leading up to this, you will be able to give it the respect it deserves. Throwing a bunch of zombies in the book would not please those of us who have been on the edge of our seat waiting to see what comes of Rick instigating Negan. The solemn build is necessary for fans of the previous 99 books to catch their breath in this gut-wrenching situation. You want character development? Yeah, we got 99 books worth, go get em. Then you come back and tell me what you thought of #100, when your heart is in your stomach and you pee your pants a little.
