BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

Do you like fantasy comics? Comics that take you, quickly and clearly, into a new world unlike your own? Where you understand the rules, the characters, the conditions, the drama, the joy, the heartbreak and heartache?

You're not alone. Unfortunately, those fantasy books are few and far between. White Trees, therefore, is a superior book. It needs to be. There are only two issues. In those two issues, please be aware that the 'adult' content is for adults, and that the 'Mature Readers' label means that this title is for people who aren't going to giggle or snicker when they see *******, ******, ****, or *******-******s.

Our situation is simple- abducted children (2), angry parents (4), a King that won't help (1) and a dead parent (1). The five parents of the two children have history, not pleasant ending history, and don't really want to be working together. See? Simple.

Clearly written by Chip Zdarsky, cleanly drawn by Kris Anka. Approved.

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
