CHAPTER ONE: Five years from now: the security of the internet has been totally destroyed. Secrets are no longer sent over the web, they're entrusted to armed couriers called 'Ledger Men,' like human punching-bag Jack McGinnis. He's got a gun in one hand and a briefcase handcuffed to the other. Danger lurks around every corner, and Jack has to watch his back-because he had a part in the cyber attack that changed the world. Get in on the ground floor of this new ongoing series and thrill as we slam Jack's fist into the faces of spies, mercs, fascists, and eventually less punchable adversaries like a very grumpy artificial intelligence. From your new favorite artist, DAVID O'SULLIVAN, and GERRY DUGGAN, The New York Times bestselling author of such indie titles as Deadpool, Star Wars: Chewbacca, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Uncanny Avengers!

Technology tells people things about you that you don't want them to know. A public purge of all information has made it so there are no secrets. There is no way this could seem like a timely story (Cambridge Analytica Cough Cough Facebook Cough Cough Zuckerberg Cough Cough), but Gerry Duggan comes off like a mind reader with Analog.

With all knowledge public, if it is online, everyone has it. That means secrets are moved the old fashioned way...by people, for people, in spite of people, and at the frustration of other people. Jack McGinnis is a former CIA agent who is now a Ledgerman, someone moving secrets for money and protection. How he came to do this, and the effect it has had on his life is why we're reading. Moody artwork by David O'Sullivan drives the point home in this future noir. Bad things happen to good people when someone is willing to kill for information. What secrets are you hiding, Jack?

Highly recommended for fans of the Fade Out and people who think their newspaper delivery boy has too much information. How do they know WHERE to deliver it? Answer me!!!!
