This felt a whole lot like a "quiet before the storm" issue that seemed to signal the end of Batman being a guest star in his own book. Even if you aren't a fan of Gotham Girl, this book may make you feel either a little weepy or moderately concerned that Bruce Wayne has an orphan fetish.
It might also make you wish for an ongoing Alfred solo book.
