(GCC NOTE: After releasing the above solicitation, since updated, DC opted to dump the advertised creative team of Tony Bedard, Koi Turnbull and Art Thibert, as well as their intended storyline, in favor of Chuck Dixon and a new artist whose name I still can't remember doing a different story. Be warned.)

"Let’s all join Chuck Dixon as we wave goodbye to the remains of the aborted Tony Bedard version of B&TO. (Bedard’s version of the book being aborted by DC, not a version done by an aborted Tony Bedard. Although, who knows what variant characters might appear in Countdown in December? Maybe there’s an aborted Tony Bedard on Earth-42, cranking out hacky scripts for that Earth’s DC?) Yeah, half the team leaves, or is fired, following a frustratingly inconsequential OMAC story for me and the team both. But now that he’s clearing the decks of another writer’s ideas, we’re hopefully set-up to get a better action-adventure storyline next month."
