Rebirth is planned to bring the core of the DC characters back to prominence. I'd say that Batman Rebirth fits the bill. It's a four day story that takes place over four seasons, getting to the heart of who Batman is, who Bruce Wayne is, and why they do what they do.(Yeah, those words are carefully chosen.) The art by Mikel Janin is non traditional by Bat-standards, but I loved it. A mix of bright and dark, very very clean, and with clear visual storytelling. Tom King's debut is filled with fine dialogue choices. It's just not nearly as good as his current run on The Vision. (What is? Watchmen? Hey...wait a minute....)
