You know, some of my favorite Hellblazer stories from the original series, were little one-shot peeks into what a real bastache John Constantine could be. Finally, 14 issues in someone has rediscovered that winning formula. No spoilers but between the talking knife and the surprise identity of the girl, I could almost believe I was reading that original series again. Thankfully, The New 52 crams a bunch of future storyline setups in-between pages. Still worth checking out though.
