Surprisingly? Sadly? Happily? Another Boom! Speculator book is actually really really good. This time the Matts show us their version of Hansel & Gretel as Ansel has to deal with last issue's betrayal while trying not to be eaten. Easily one of my favorite takes on the classic fairy tale story with Hanz and Greta being the villains. Ansel has a surprise rescuer that proves you can't judge a book by it's cover. Featuring Matt Smith doing his best Mignola/Powell artwork yet. Totally eat from this candy house!
