Godzilla is in Hell. Actual Hell. HELL Hell. How do we know it's Hell (aside from the title of the book)? When he arrives, he's met with a Godzilla sized sign telling him to abandon all hope as the ye that is entering there. His reaction to that sets the tone for the issue, and hopefully the series. Writer/artist James Stokoe (Godzilla:Half Century War) tells his story through visuals alone. If you wish to see Godzilla fight his creator, his victims, and himself, this book is for you. If you want to see the best art of the week, this book is for you too. If you're concerned that the other creative teams taking on lower levels of hell won't be able to match the quality of the work here, I'm right there with you. Future fears be damned, THIS was awesome.
