While the GOTG do join up w/ Carol's damn fool idealistic crusade, it doesn't really happen in this issue. Most of what's here is filler. Pleasant filler, jokey filler, sexy-time filler, but filler. That filler is offset with one touching moment w/ Angela, but then filled in with more filler to get us to the last four pages. Those pages are foreboding and awesome, and feel like they're going to have some larger place in Civil War II than GOTG teaming up w/ Carol and the Crazy Corps. I hope the writer on CWII and the writer on GOTG have been in touch for how to best coordinate that.
