REVIEW by Brian Fisher
This book, right here is the single best ongoing title from DC. Hands-down, flat-out, no-doubt best! Gog is cutting a bloody swath across the DCU, killing off "gods" to make way for the second coming of his own god. And now he's set his sights on the JS of A. This book has more nostalgia than you can shake a stick at while still not alienating newer readers. Despite being the largest team of super heroes in the whole of comicdom if not just the DCU each character has his/her own voice and are given just enough attention from issue to issue to keep you caring. While Eaglesham isn't my favorite artist in the industry he's at least consistent from page to page, and whatever I may say about his figure work, dang, can that man draw an action scene! This is the one book every DC fan, or anyone looking to get into the DCU should read. It's like a history lesson crossed with an action movie!
I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
