Where should I start? First, the good news; this issue works. From the brief appearances of an aloof Silver Surfer, to Galactus gourging on a planet (and not being stopped), to the sci-fi angle of a dark and distant solar system, it worked. Great story overall, and I give Abnett and Lanning big kudos. But the bad news, and there are two: When I reviewed the first issue in this story, I thought the main villain cliché. Still do, and for me something more could have been done. But the really bad news is that my initial rating was too low. The ending was unpredictable, and solid. I can’t change the first rating higher, but now…
