Not since the epic Avengers #80 (original series) have I looked forward to the return of a western character. And while Nathan Edmondson's tale is well executed and has an interesting concept which smacks of Back To The Future 3 and Time Rider, it is still suffering from a couple of issues. Never a big fan of the 1872 universe, this is a case of a way to continue an alternate Marvel Universe with a secondary character. Next, one of the coolest parts of the original Red Wolf was his outfit. Native Averican in street clothes is dull. It's almost as if Red Wolf sold out to the Man. Saddest part is when the man from the future uses the word "convergence" Wasn't that trademarked by another company? Still, lets see where we go.
