Once a statue, now a film star, Thanos is finally pried from the claw-like grasp of Jim Starlin. This is a promising beginning to a character whose previous ongoing title only made it to issue #12. All in all, this was a solid book, with some splashy art from Deodato. Highly recommended, except for an early double splash page...for the title and credits. It's enough to make a titan mad.
Also highly recommended for fans of both the color purple and Darkseid.
