BONUS REVIEW by Rick Berg

Walter Simonson's Thor run is legendary. This "throwback" story is not as it reads like a deleted scene for an assistant editors month reboot. The art is a giant weakness and I wish Walter and Sal's names were not attached to this obviously done for the money 8 pager, it tarnishes their good names. Unlike "story A" Ron Frenz's artwork is still as great as ever (if you like it, I do.) Sadly this story has Code Blue with nearly more screen time than Thunderstrike, just a waste of character, talent, and time. Then there is a misfire of a Sif and Thor story. While the art is passable the story drops the ball again, it just feels terribly miscast and written for an all ages book that was scrapped. Not worth it.

I give it 3 out of 10 Grahams
