The dude whose main power was once his feet has become Ozymandias-level bad, and that's just aces because the only thing of interest that Beast has done in the last 20 years is date a girl with green hair back when that would have been odd to see. It seemed as if his mutant power was "do science." This issue makes the Beast instantly interesting again, and even though Wolverine is barely in it, he's a million miles away from Weepy Samurai/Child Mentor. Highly recommended for anybody who remembers when the X-Men were actually afraid of Logan, those readers who've always thought the the Council of Reeds should have big feet, and fur, and those who have known who the Big Bad was in this entire Krakoa story.
