Jake Pierce is a corn fed Indiana boy who fell in love with all things Spider-man as a child due to the 90s animated series. Moving to Chicago to meet new aspiring comic creators in 2014, Jake has worked at Graham Crackers Comics for just about as long as he's been in Chicago. You can usually find Jake at the store discussing which Sinister Six line-up is his favorite, what his favorite Jack Kirby creation is, or who has the best looking suplex in all of Pro-Wrestling. Jake also hosts and produces the comedy show "RAD. a fun show" which happens in the basement of the Lakeview store the first and third Thursday of each month.
Pete Rude grew up in Idaho but moved to Chicago in 2015 and has been a regular both in front of and behind the Graham Crackers counter ever since. They love full moons, lush forests, and rare steaks, and you could pretty accurately call them a “dog person.” They will gladly bark your ear off about Rocket Raccoon or Green Arrow, or how Disney Adventures Magazine got them into comics as a kid by serializing Jeff Smith’s Bone. Come in on Wednesdays or weekends and you’ll find them organizing Magic cards, sorting back issues, and generally being a good dog. Feel free to ask them any questions you have about Marvel, DC, or their favorite werewolf media!
