(W/A/CA) TBD Who are the Utopians? And what secret do they hold that pertains to the future of mutantkind? The All-New X-Men may regret finding out! Rated T Date Available: 04/22/2015
BONUS REVIEW by Gavin Rehfeldt
Divisive headline-making controversy aside, this is a very good X-Men comic book. It sets up an interesting storyline while deepening characters and enhancing the decades-long history of the founding X-Men. Continuing the tradition of soapy twisty X-Men romance, young Iceman AKA Bobby Drake is privately (shockingly?) revealed to be a homosexual by his teammate Jean Grey. It might seem superficially as an unfair "outing" story, but it's actually handled sensitively and with charm. Bendis's wit shines through in this little teen romance tale, which also includes development for the unlikely pairing of Angel and X-23. Another solid X=week from Bendis, and Asrar's interiors are strong as well! I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
