Avengers Prime #1

Pencils & Cover by ALAN DAVIS
Variant Cover by MARKO DJURDJEVIC
THE HEROIC AGE IS HERE! They were friends, brothers and teammates through all of Marvel's greatest adventures, but recent events turned them into the bitterest of enemies. In the wake of the Siege of Asgard Thor, Iron Man and Steve Rogers are brought together on the same side once more, but these great heroes can't truly trust each other yet. They better start soon because something only the Big Three can handle is tearing their world apart. This all-new, grand and dangerous adventure will catapult our heroes into the explosive Heroic Age and will unite comics legend Alan Davis with Avengers scribe Brian Bendis for the very first time. 40 PGS./Bi-Monthly
Date Available: 06/03/2010
BONUS REVIEW by JOHN ROBINSON

Avengers Prime focuses on the 3 original Avengers that matter. Thor, Iron Man and Captain America. Alan Davis artwork is always worth the price of the admission, but Davis drawing the 3 big Avengers just makes it that much sweeter. The story by BMB is standard stuff and luckily not too full of BMB annoyances (bickering? does every character have to bicker BMB?). Best AVENGERS title of all the new ones to spin out this month, don't skip it.
I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
