VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
(W) J. H. Williams, Haden Blackman (A) Francesco Francavilla (CA) J. H. Williams In the aftermath of the Medusa ordeal, Killer Croc is rescued by a mysterious cult...but what connection do they have with Batwoman, and why do they need to see her die? Date Available: 06/19/2013
BONUS REVIEW by Gavin Rehfeldt
The New 52 Batwoman's journey has been, at times, overly complicated and burdened with unpolished dialogue. HOWEVER, this month's Killer Croc-focused installment exhibits improvement in both plotting and prose. The sensuality throughout Williams/Blackman's run reaches a peculiar climax with #21. Killer Croc's attempt at pillow talk will be the most talked about sequence. Despite its flaws, Batwoman still has sumptuous and devastating moments unseen in other books. Francavilla provides his expected, and always welcome, ravishingly pulpy interiors. I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
