BONUS REVIEW by John 'Doc' Schaefer

Proof that there is a deity that looks after comic book geeks. When Monsterverse's Bela Lugosi's Tales #1 came out, I was amazed. Lugosi written and drawn like I imagined Lugosi acted and looked was worth the price of admission alone but I would have bet money at the time that there would be no issue #2. And although I scooped up the Rick Baker evil old Popeye cover, I worried that the loving tribute that issue #1 had been might have been lost over all this time. But I'm here to tell you, that myfears were unfounded. Kerry Gammill's Lugosi is spot on and with the help of 70's horror hostess wannabe Nosferina and traditional evil dwarf assistant Hugo, the story wraparounds read like a classic film. And the stories themselves are inventive and unique! A must read for any monster fan!
