I don’t know WHAT the other reviewer is talkin’ about!! You may not enjoy the art; that is if you don’t like artists like Sean Philips (Criminal) or Michael Lark (Gotham Central). What I enjoyed from the art was interesting perspectives, like on the 4th page (which is a 2 page spread) where it’s as if we’re peering through a hole in the ceiling, it’s fascinating! A few pages later someone gets their brains blown in and the shooter is reverberating through the reflection of the victim’s glasses – super extra special.
This book is deranged, disturbing…and incredible!!! My favorite books are pretty dark: Preacher, Dark Knight Returns, Watchmen, Grendel, Walking Dead, you get the drift. So if you dig the aforementioned, pick up Harvest for a literal spleen-splitting good time.
UPDATE: Two issues later and there is an AWESOME twist!! If the whole “harvesting organs illegally for a rich man’s black market” isn’t enough, just wait! Pick up the next 2 issues, and you’ll see this isn’t what you expected!!!!!

I give it 10 out of 10 Grahams

COUNTERPOINT REVIEW:
BONUS REVIEW by Harvey Walraven

I know what your thinking, comics have been around for like 80 years and no one has made a comic about harvesting organs from people ( I mean in modern day!) Seems like a natural fit, right??? Well if you do you would amazingly be wrong! While I think I understand what is going on in the story (a man out for revenge about what happened to him) I really couldn’t tell you because the art is so god awful that I can’t tell one character from another and the story seems to jump around way to much so I couldn’t tell what was a flashback or what is real time. I think it may have some possibilities in here just I think they are buried WAY deep. I would think harvesting your own kidney with a dull spoon would have to be more enjoyable than reading this book!

I give it 2 out of 10 Grahams
