The hidden door beneath Monument Point lies open, and the JSA teams up with the Challengers of The Unknown to venture into the city's depths. Older than the time of the Conquistadores, reaching across time and space - the deeper our heroes go, the more sinister this realm seems, until they stumble upon an ancient evil. Just what was Scythe looking for down here?
Date Available: 07/27/2011
BONUS REVIEW by JOHN SCHAEFER

Finally, a return to some classic storyline. The mysteries of Monument Point revealed! A guest appearance by the Challengers of the Unknown! A Per Degaton prophecy coming true! Jerry Ordway's artwork! A traditional set up to what is shaping up to be a terrific final storyline for this incarnation of the Justice Society. I hope the team handling the Post 52 incarnation of this title can keep up with this level of quality. Huh, what do you mean there is no new incarnation of the JSA coming in September? What do you mean that in the new universe Superman was the first super-hero to appear only 5 years ago? DC wouldn't do that. That's just internet gossip..........Harummff! Well, I guess we need to savor our Golden Age while it exists. Sob.
