After Elle Peterssen is mysteriously attacked on a Manhattan subway platform, she is left in a coma, the only clues to her attacker trapped inside her mind. No one knows the identity of the person behind this brutal beating or where they will strike next. In this ALL-NEW ONGOING series, everyone is suspect, and no one is innocent. USAToday calls it an 'anxiously anticipated modern thriller…Whodunit? McCann's done it again.' Eisner-winning writer JIM McCANN joins RODIN ESQUEJO (MORNING GLORIES) and SONIA OBACK (S.H.I.E.L.D., The Defenders) unite for a psychological thriller that will leave you guessing at every turn!

This is gonna be a winner. From the artist who wowed you with “Morning Glories” and the writer who brought you “Return of the Dapper Men”, comes 32 pages of building blocks. Here’s the rundown: chick in a coma, wasn’t an accident, she’s having an out of body experience and needs to piece together her skewed memories to figure out who dunnit. The story unfolds quite naturally, even with so many characters and plot points thrown at you, which is really impressive. I’m left begging for the next issue, tortured by not knowing anything! It’s a mystery you won’t be able to solve, and therefore must enjoy the ride. It’s not the easiest thing to do, dabbling with the afterlife, yet this issue stays grounded with realistic characters and natural dialogue propelled by the fear of a menacing threat. I love how layered this comic is, and the easter egg page in back is a fantastic way of sharing the preproduction work which only adds to the enjoyment of the reader. If you picked up Saga, Fatale, or Americas Got Powers, add this one to your list of “Reasons why Image deserves your money”.
