NAMOR GOES TO HELL concludes! Abandoned by his greatest ally, Namor finds his escape from the desert netherworld blocked by an army of demonic creatures. I missed something, since Namor is now considered a mutant (because he can fly, I guess), and, not only that, he is the first mutant…which means we shouldn’t be looking for mutants before, say, the 20th century. Anyway, this comic is the end of a story that sees Namor in Hell battling past Atlantean Kings. Sort of. There’s more, of course, which is mostly covered in the first page…and it’s comics like this, honestly, why I don’t like a long synopsis on the first page. They make comics look silly, to say the least. The story itself unfolds fairly well, which surprised me after the synopsis, though I always have trouble understanding the Namor character, since I never know which one will be shown: Mr. Arrogant, or the friendly guy, or the one that says "I'm the King" every few seconds. In this version, we get a fourth one: a guy that doesn’t worry about tomorrow. And that's simply frustrating, which sums up my feelings about Marvel’s First Mutant…
