On the Doctor Who side, The Tiptons and Tony Lee spotlight Matt Smith's rather arrogant and self-important portrayal of the Doctor. Amy and Rory characterizations are spot on. On the Next Generation side, the initial scenes of Federation personel is a highlight that comes straight out of the series' second or third season. And that last page painting is a testament to JK Woodward's art and is reminiscent of some of Alex Ross's work. The only downside is the villians. It seems like a natural pairing of the Cybermen and the Borg but without any back story initially, the combination seems off somehow.
