Superman #675 (2006) $7.00 Quantity
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
Written by Kurt Busiek Art and Variant cover by Renato Guedes & José Wilson Magalhaés Cover by Alex Ross It's an oversized spectacular blowout action anniversary issue, as Kurt Busiek, gearing up for his insanely huge next project, brings his Superman run to a close! A three-way battle between Superman, Paragon and the forces of Daxam! The Earth-shattering threat of the all-new Galactic Golem! This one's got it all, including a painted cover by Alex Ross. BONUS REVIEW by GARY OWENS A double-sized ending: the "finish" of the Mon-el story, and of Busiek on the title. Laden with a fine Ross cover, the comic itself is solid: no fluff, a criminal copartner, and an uneasy victory. During his run, Busiek loved unresolved endings, and he leaves with one more. Only a forced tie-in to his new book spoiled the story. A strong buy, especially since it will only cost more as a back-issue. I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
