BONUS REVIEW by John Doc Schaefer

Way back in the day, I could always be found in the school library reading on my lunch. The John Carter series was one of my favorites. Not only was it adventurous but the paperbacks always seemed to have those Frazetta-like covers with the incredibly hot covers with Dejah Thoris that the librarians seemed to miss. From John Carter, I learned of Gullivar Jones. So having both characters in one title is bliss. The best part of this book is the differences in the two characters' styles are frequently brought into play. Adventure is doubled as these two men go looking for trouble. If you enjoyed those library battered paperbacks, this comic is a magnificent visual translation of those adventures.
