BONUS REVIEW by SHANNA BERRY

Second Coming has me falling off the edge of my seat! Talk about a good ol’ fashion X-book, with danger around every corner and lives on the line. The artwork is superb in this issue, making me wish Uncanny artist Greg Land would step it up a notch (characters have different faces in this issue, hurray!). Rogue has been proving her worth in recent X-books, and in this issue Hope would be a goner if not for her supped-up protector. It’s always sad to see an X-men fall, especially a valuable teammate who’s been around since Giant-Size #1. Pushing yourself to the limit for the sake of humanity is something each X-Man is willing to do, but watching it broke my heart. But it’s the X-Men so there’s probably a giant-size, telepathic band-aid ready to undo the tragedy, but you never know who Marvel thinks is revive-worthy, or who will be left with a tombstone. Find out in Part 6, Uncanny X-Men #524!
I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
