Every couple of years, Marvel throws us old-timers a bone and this is their latest treat. What's not to like about this book. You've got a seventy year old mystery, conspiracy, Nazis, heroes from the Golden Age of Marvel, and an artist/writer team that have the common sense to have our heroes fighting the war in WWII gear instead of their usual colorful costumes (I realise it doesn't look as visually appealing but you can't drop a guy dressed in bright reds, yellows, and blues into a fire fight and not expect him to get picked off.) The characterization of the Young Avengers granddaughter and her lack of enthusiasm over his collection of memorabilia is funny and realistic. And who doesn't appreciate the brief look into the Timely Comics offices and that of one Martin Goodman.
