There are some pretty clear signs that Peter is going to make it out of Secret Wars. The first is that he's running a global foundation on a scale that rival's Stark Industries. This, like the other big shake-ups Dan Slott has brought to Spidey's life in the past, will absolutely bring new options, changes, and challenges to Peter's world. Some of those are on display in this issue. Some of the ones on display are fun. There's good banter, fine art from Giuseppe Camuncoli (with sharp inking by Cam Smith), and a story that will probably want to make you read the next issue. Unfortunately, there's also a big big re-tread with a character Slott has used in every incarnation of his spider writing. I'm bored with that before its even a thing to be bored with.

The back ups are another story. FIVE stories to be precise. If only one of them had a good story and art in the same place. The run the gamut from pretty bad to pretty badly bad, and make the case that only Bendis!(TM) should be writing Miles as a character.
