"Oh, Mike Lilly. Why do you insist on making a story SO DIFFICULT TO FOLLOW with your art? This should all be a fairly straight-forward ‘final battle’ type of story, yet thanks to disappearing/reappearing backgrounds, characters constantly breaking panel borders, and just overall sketchy artwork, I can barely figure out what’s going on any given page, much less care about it. Just one more recent Marvel mini-series undone by art that isn’t ready for the big time."
