BMB kicks off the return to the HEROIC AGE (good guys in charge again) of MARVEL COMICS with Avengers #1. Teaming up with artist John Romita Jr, the book wraps up Siege and introduces you to the current AVENGERS line-up (not to be confused with NEW, DARK, YOUNG, etc.). Whole lotta set-up, and BMB's pacing is slow as ever so not much happens. Are good things in store? Looks like it from the cliff hanger ending, but while this does a capable job of setting things up, that's really all it's going to do for you.

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
