'Natasha, chased by SHIELD at all turns, falls 40,000 without a parachute'. This might as well be all the script that existed to start the Waid/Samnee era of Black Widow. It IS what happens. Hopefully, you'll see that for yourself. I can see where you might need more, so we'll flesh it out a bit. 'Natasha, now a domestic enemy, chased by SHIELD at all turns, falls 40,000 feet without a parachute. SHIELD uses every tool at their disposal to stop her for that entire distance, including cars, jetpacks, parachutes, rocks, explosives, motorcycles, and profanity. None of these work'. Chris Samnee drapes this story across each page with mostly pure visual storytelling that should be accessible for both new readers and older comic fans.
