Verily, CA is a wonder, and this new tale is no exception. He is the soldier and survivor dedicated to duty, and when being the hero, like here, he is a good, happy read that makes us forget about certain, real events in the media, at least for a while. This is part #2, and if you missed the first part, I won’t say what happened, except that here CA finds himself lost and he is trying to find his way back. JR JR art is eye-candy, as always. I enjoyed the comic, mostly, though where it falls down is in the small details, such as I don’t like stories that flat out tell you they stretch over long periods of time (page two: “One year later…”), and second, I hate confusion, which happened here, though in this case it is where the artist, shrouding disturbing scenes, lost me at times (like in the last 2 pages. I got it, eventually, but only by reviewing them closely). And the shock about the last panel is how small it is…still, a good read about never losing hope. Always hits the spot in the middle of the week.
