VERY FINE/NEAR MINT

Written by Ed Brubaker, penciled by Michael Lark, cover by Tommy Lee Edwards.

"The Devil in Cell Block D" hits a turning point. With all the prison gangs against him, Matt Murdock turns to unlikely allies in his quest for the truth. And as Kingpin returns to Gen-Pop, Ryker's Island teeters on the edge of an explosion, and Matt can either give it a push, or remember the man he used to be. Meanwhile, Ben Urich and Dakota North hunt whoever is running around Hell's Kitchen pretending to be Daredevil

BONUS REVIEW by RICK BERG

Bendis who now? Brubaker’s Daredevil is just as good only it takes a third of the time. This issue has prison angst, Frank stop by, Urich vs. Jameson, Matt vs. Kingpin and Dakota North and art by Michael Lark. Wow and just for under $3.00 also? Amazing. This book is so good we should all be in prison.
I give it 8 out of 10 grahams.

BONUS REVIEW by DAL BUSH

I'll say this for Ed Brubaker and Michael Lark's run on Daredevil: even when it's just treading water (like this issue) it's still better than 80% of the stuff out there. I'm looking at you, X-Men: 198! And you, Albion! And Cyberforce. And Four. And Battle For Bludhaven. And Transformers: Beast Wars. And Storm. And Blood Of The Demon. And Army Of Darkness. And New Excalibur. And Wildcats: Nemesis. And Tarot. And... 8 Grahams.
