VERY FINE/NEAR MINT

Written by Ed Brubaker, penciled by Michael Lark, cover by Lee Bermejo.

Matt Murdock returns to the streets of New York, to Hell¹s Kitchen, to whatever is left of his life, and to face whatever he must to try to get it back. What is Matt¹s future? What has happened in his absence, and what part does Kingpin play in all this? The only place you¹ll find those answers is in the conclusion to "The Devil Takes a Ride!"

BONUS REVIEW by DAL BUSH

Ed Brubaker and Michael Lark officially close off the last 6 years of Daredevil stories, which is good and bad. Good since closure of ANY kind was never exactly on Brian Bendis' radar (ugh, no pun intended) back when he wrote the book, so this is a long time coming. Bad, because now that it's here, Daredevil is ready to become just another Marvel book. If Brubaker had shown me on ANY Marvel book he's done that he's got anything to say after his first arc I'd be more optimistic, but, well, he hasn't. So I'm not. For the time being, though, this was a great ending. 8 Grahams
