VERY FINE/NEAR MINT

written by RICK REMENDER, art by JEROME OPENA, cover by TONY MOORE

Lost, beaten and left for dead, Heath Huston must face the demons of his inevitable future. On the other side of the world, left in the robot city of Retilia, Mara pleads with the remaining organic life on the world to rise against the new automaton regime. With the Feeders progressing ever closer to Earth will Heath solve this quandary in time to return and save his home world? Fan favorite and Russ Manning award winner Jerome Opena begins his first arc as alternating artist to Tony Moore! Also this issue a special back up by Steve Niles (Bad Planet) and EJ Su (Transformers)!

BONUS REVIEW by RICK BERG

Just when I think this book has written itself into a new inescapable corner, sci-fi goodness happens. Does Heath survive a fatal injury? Looks like it. How can he with his stomach missing? By using a convenient plot device of course! Can the evil robot Tetaldians really destroy the future by using Annie in the past? Will the sun come out tomorrow? Yes because green skinned guys in Robocop helmets are cool. How does that confusing free comic book fit in? Very easily by reprinting it in order with the rest of the story. Is this an Image title that is trying to ship on time? Well this month it is. Rick Remender and company churn out another fun thrill-filled adventure of science fiction. This issue even has a spiffy untold tale of Heath and monstrous headed aliens written by Hilary Barta.
