REVIEW by BRIAN FISHER

I’ve been loving this book since the re-launch. It’s beautifully drawn, expertly written, funny and action-packed! Green Arrow, in my opinion has always been one the most overlooked characters at DC. In this issue the search for Connor’s would-be assassin starts with a bang. GA and BC are following the lead of the “invisible airship” that the shot was fired from, and they’ve traced it to some very unfriendly arms dealers (are there friendly ones?). Without giving too much away a chase ensues when their cover is blown, and their pursuers aren’t exactly who they (or we) were expecting. This book is starting to read kind of like Brubaker’s Daredevil, where every issue is packed to the gills with action and story, but lacking in much forward motion as far as the over-all story line is concerned. But, like Daredevil and Brubaker I’ll always give GA and Winick the benefit of the doubt. As long as there’s a decent payoff at the end of the story, like someone with a grudge against GA is going after him through his family *cough*Deathstroke*cough* I'll be satisfied. .
I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
