England's favorite low-rent mage skips town to avoid incarceration and heads to India. But Constantine’s quest for purity in an attempt to resurrect the love of his life is quickly interrupted when an ex-pat friend gets him mired in a series of grisly murders. An incredible clash of old and new cultures sets the stage for Constantine as he mingles with street kids, billionaires and Bollywood. But can he pay the price for enlightenment without losing his sanity?

BONUS REVIEW by GARY OWENSL

I love books that travel overseas, showing other cultures. Here, part one in a longer story, has John Constantine seeking a way back to his lost love by traveling to India. He needs to find a way to pure innocence to regain her, if that’s even possible. Naturally, the demons residing in India have other plans. Peter Milligan crafts an intriguing story, and the artwork is well done. Gotta admit the cover got me…if you like seeing something different, even when it is for mature readers, give this one a try. It’s worth it.

I give it 10 out of 10 Grahams
