Human Target is a very well done version of the '24 hours to solve your own murder' story. Christopher Chance has twelve days to solve his, each day is an issue, and Tom King's writing sure makes it seem like he's been wanting to do a proper superhero noir for some time. Greg Smallwood's art is pulpy perfection. If you're yearning for something a little bit lighter inside something terribly dark, give this little gem a try.
