Kick-*ss has been a love letter to comics (and comic fandom) for most of its existence. This is a missed opportunity to continue with that. Add two scoops of disappointment for writer Steve Niles, who has used both of these characters to excellent effect previously. No spoilers, but if you're in the store, I'm happy to go into way too much detail.
