REVIEW by BRIAN FISHER
There's a nifty little art technique that Bagley uses in this issue to make things all retro-y and '80s-ish. Its called simplification. No heavy hatching, no over complicated compositions just straightforward good artwork. It made me nostalgic for the artwork of the '80s a little bit. The writing of the '80s, not so much. It's definitely written by Bendis. His voice still shines through. But it's like Bendis was channeling Roger Stern (and not good Roger Stern) through his talk-heavy writing style. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I'm getting a little tired of Bendis' writing on MA. His overuse of the word balloons borders on annoying and his choice of team members does not feel natural at all... quite frankly it feels forced. With Bagley jumping ship at Marvel and doing the next weekly over at DC, this book is going to lose the last good thing it had going for it.

I give it 5 out of 10 Grahams
