This issue is an o.k. wrap up to the current storyline. I liked it, so this is maybe going to sound whiny, but where are the editors at Marvel when it comes time to end an arc? We saw this problem last week in a rushed end to Spider-Verse and now here, that GIANT issues (in this case-incarceration without charges) are left dangling like so many participles. I hope its not a shock to hear that Marc catches Khonshu's ear again, and goes on to live at least another day. However, he's in touch with a reporter for the entire issue and the circumstances that put him in this scenario never come up. For someone's who existence is currently based on exacting a specific justice, I think Khonshu would have a thing or two to say about a government's willingness to oppress someone this way. Since the arc is basically about applying this mindset to African nations, it would at least deserve a 'to do'post it on the fridge, right?
Greg Smallwood's art is gorgeous, but my fingers are crossed for the return of 'done in ones'.
